베토벤 바이러스 Beethoven Virus

I finally finish SBS 'On Air' and started watching MBC 'Beethoven Virus'.



The actress, Lee Ji Ah also acted in 'The Legend'.
I couldn't recognise her at first but finds her vaguely familiar.
She plays the main role as Du Ru Mi, a violinist.

I was actually listening to Taeyeon (SNSD) singing 들리나요 Can You Hear Me.
That got me interested but I was in the midst of 'On Air'.
So it was delayed till now.

I've only watched up to Episode 6,
so far... very impressed.
The familiar classical pieces I use to play,
brings back memories...

And the 2 Conductors...
One is insanely sarcastic (Maestro Kang Gun Woo)
One is insanely eccentric (Maestro Jung Myung Hwan)
Bwahahahaha~ Ah... my stomach ㅜ_ㅜ

Oh! There was this one piece used in Episode 1 where
character Gun Woo (trumpeter) played on his... obviously Trumpet.

Those who were my schoolmates/classmates would know
every morning, my school will play this song
as cue to assemble everyone for flag raising.
The whole school must teleport from wherever they are
to the assembly area before the song ends.

why is her skin sooo fair?!
Oh, I heard she picked up violin and practiced hard for this drama.
Amazing. Finally not the fake 'playing' act.
I hope local dramas stop making people play an instrument
they don't know. Viewers can tell. If so...
might as well get a double and get it right.

Merry Christmas '08

This year's Christmas has been meaningful, more than ever.
I attended Mass at Church of St Francis Xavier.
Eye opener for me since the only other time I step into a
Catholic Church was when Adrian passed away.

This year, it's not just about presents, or food, or friends.
Seriously, it's too commercialize and romanticize.

Orchard Road was crazily loaded with tons of people.
Last minute shoppers. Don't understand why people like crowds.

Anyway, MERRY CHRISTMAS 2008!

New Look

I spend the whole night hand coding the layout.
At one point I accidentally click the 'home' button and had to re-do everything.

My Prayers

How many times have you had unanswered prayers.
During those times, are we most vulnerable to lost faith.
I always firmly believe that if something should fail, there is always a greater plan that awaits me.

Yes! I spend 2 hours cleaning and tidying up my room.
It's all nice and dust-free now.

Thou I can't say the same for the inside of my wardrobe.
It's kinda messy.
Lotsa un-wanted stuff but can't bear to throw them away.
Some with sentimental value.
Some are too new to be thrown.
I wish I could donate all those stuff away to people who need it more than I do.
Most of the stuff are gifts and childhood toys.

I have a box full of soft toys.
Even Ninja-Turtle.
My favorite cartoon in pre-school times.
Another was Captain Planet.

I'm a softie when it comes to cotton stuffed items. (u__u)

Letting go...

I woke up this morning sobbing really badly.
I had a nightmare about my ex-boss. (sigh!)
Being mis-understood, and mis-judged, and under-appreciated, just makes you wanna end it all.
And I felt horrible and extremely fatigue the whole day.
Couldn't get myself to do anything productive today.
Although I try to get myself to let go of whatever has happened in the past, its hard.
I remind myself that I'll only be unhappy holding on to those thoughts.
But my ex-colleagues will lament to me from time to time about the drama at work and my ex-boss' super ridiculous acts.
At times, I wish I could be there to defend them since I have a bit more knowledge of how the whole organisation works.
Else, I'm just glad I'm out of there... being angry everyday is bad.
It's all but a physchological battle everyday.

I need to get my life back... or risk getting Avoidant personality disorder.

Oh ya, the night before, I dreamt that my upper braces came off and half my teeths were dropping out or shifted out of place.
I was told that's a bad sign, that someone blood related will pass away.
I guess that wun apply to me... since I dream of such stuff from time to time.

Darn, I'm getting too many weird dreams.
I need a manual switch to shutdown my brain during sleep.

It breaks my heart to keep hearing bad 'news' from my ex-workplace. Even until now, after me and Koots left, why hasn't the situation change for the better. One issue after another. I'm meeting my ex-colleagues for dinner tonight and they're gonna spill everything out. Well... I hope its the last time I hear them lament about work. Give the correct people credit for this tough period at least.

White X'Mas

My favorite Johnny Group KAT-TUN's newest single 'White X'mas' has top Oricon's Daily Chart today. Also on the weekly Chart No. 1 is EXILE's 'Last Christmas'. Its a re-make of the original English version. A tune most people are familiar with.

Speaking of EXILE, I loooooooove 'Your Eyes Only'. Apparently they had another version of it. Here's a preview of the new version: Your eyes only 〜曖昧なぼくの輪郭〜. It's collected in their album EXILE BALLAD BEST. Very christmas-sy. (It's torturing to ban myself from buying CDs) ㅜ_ㅜ!

Christmas is indeed coming~ whether you like it or not. Have you started to your Xmas shopping? I remembered one year probably in 2005? 2004? I went xmas shopping at the very last minute. I bought everyone's gift at one go in 2 hours? I burn a big hole in my pocket! Luckily I had about a hundred over dollar worth of Takashimaya voucher and it was gone in one night. Both my hands were full carrying big Taka Shopping bags.

That same night, a colleague of mine just had to invite me and my other colleague to a fine dining restuarant, Equinox. Shabbily dressed, hands full with shopping bags, I went ahead with the plan. The ambience was very posh; stressful in my opinion. I had a major headache and couldn't enjoy the dinner throughly. It was a wonderful experience nonetheless. A great place to bring your other half to enjoy a different kind of dining. Its a favorite for tourist too.

Car Rides

As much as I'm grateful for the free car rides I receive, it seems like in 10 years time, I probably wun be able to enter a private car anymore. Nowadays I get images of horrible mishaps and such. A little traumatize from all my car ride experiences. I don't have much problem with buses and trains thou. Maybe it was a long due aftermath from that taxi accident I had 2 years ago. Even when I take a plane, I get images of crashes and such. Maybe I watch too much tv about transport related accidents. I shall prevent sitting in the front seat as much as possible. To those who are driving daily, please remember your seatbelts and drive carefully. Too many people lost their lives on the road already.

Tsk tsk tsk... Scuba diving is so much safer.
