Dim Sum + KTV

I met up with lin in town after work yesterday. It suddenly rain on us so we were stuck at Heeren. We grab some coffee at Spinelli while waiting for yin to finish her CNY shopping at Chinatown. We later head down to chinatown for dinner at some dim sum place.

Dim sum always reminds me of my Hong Kong trip with Shirin and Irene.

The BIG plate of noodles we fail to finish.

Lin was forcing me to finish the food. Argh....

We had a few hours before our KTV appointment at 10pm, so we took a walk around Chinatown to get the CNY feel...

This China guy was selling some hair accessories stuff. The way he talks is so freaking funny. Like going on and on saying the same thing.

The monkey going 'Eyi Eyi Eyi' and beat on it's drum swaying side to side... CUTE!

Not surprisingly, the place was CROWDED despite the drizzle.

We still had tons of time and it was too crowded for limping lin so we head back to yin's new home for a while. Her TV is BIG. Her 2 door Fridge is BIG. And I love her room's cupboard. Black... nice nice. Their ceiling fan freaks me out thou. (thinks: ghost story)

The KTV room is BIG too. Hmm... everything was big yesterday. Laughs. The place is like those hangouts for my mom's generation but damn, their songs are so updated! They even had TVXQ song. And their videos are all originals. Not like some other ktv place whereby english songs are those funny weird people walking in the park kind.

But I think they dun have much rooms so it'll be pretty hard to go there often. Oh ya, that place is own by yin's dad's friend. We din pay a dime... so embrassing, sing for free.

Before we left for the day, yin's dad's friends/relatives asked where I live and how I'm gonna get home stuff, and everyone was like... oohh Hougang is soo far. Haa... typical Singaporean reaction neh. Singapore is so small... it took me about 20 mins to get home last night? Expressway man. No worries alright. If we put aside traffic jams and all, it takes less than 30 mins to get to anywhere in Singapore. Boon Lay? Just next door. Haa

Looking forward to CNY, mahjong session with Lin & Yin and... Tony?!
