I miss Tioman

I was looking thru my photos, came across a bunch of photos taken in Tioman. I suddenly miss that place so much. I can never forget the image of me floating in the water, looking at Tioman Island, so un-touch, so natural, so peaceful. The island is beautiful but my companions are wonderful too. Taking good care of the very troublesome me. I love them all. I want to go back real soon.

On another note, I'll be going to Genting coming 9th Oct for a short trip. Followed by a drive up to KL for seafood on 4th Nov. My new hobbies are collecting used staples and collecting chops on my passport. Haa...

Love Thou Enemy?

People often say Romancing in the Office is never a good thing. I use to stand by this rule also. It was a 'no way' policy for me. Yet, my current boyfriend is my colleague. I use to believe the thought of seeing the person you love everyday is going to make you sick and bored. Yet I wish to see him more often everyday. God does miracle to my beliefs at times. Everytime I hate that certain something, He will make sure I fall in love with it, somehow. So Ah Fen, don't hate the **certain country** people, your husband might come from there. Haha... like how people always say, what goes around comes around. Beware!!

Anyway, I'm writing at random cause I'm waiting for Dar Dar to reach home safely before I head to Lala Land. Had our class gathering last saturday. It was quite a big turn out. Even Brendon came. It was fun catching up with my classmates. **Dropping major hint** Now, when is our next gathering?

That dreadful meeting

At times, I wonder why some people get paid more than you do yet does nothing at work. Just because she's having a child doesn't mean she can just sit back and relax and get paid right. And all she does is to poke her nose around other people's business. Speaking as if she knows how humans came about. I irks me when she's always around the back office doing nothing while I get burried with my work. And yet they just keep pushing more work to me. Especially my no. 3 in the department. I may be just a nobody but do have the courtesy to ask if I'm available to handle my work plus the new comers. Simply dumping the problem to me will not solve anything. It's your own job, you as a manager should make decisions. Not me. Dar dar says because boss believe that I can handle my work well, that's why he doesn't ask much about my work. I don't quite believe. Whatever it is, all my hard work will be showcase during tml's credit meeting. The lesser problem on that piece of report, the better I look.

But thinking on the bright side, boss actually bought coffee for me from Starbucks yesterday. So sweet right. Haa... I din know what favour he bought but it's quite nice. Note: I dun drink coffee. Yet I finish most of it.

Ok. I'm contridicting myself. Tomorrow's gonna be another busy day. Meeting after meeting. Better pack lunch to work.

I Want This...

I suddenly realise we have taken alot of stupid photos in Taiwan. So, I'm not gonna post any photos up about our trip. It's mainly shopping and eating. It was sweet while it lasted and I can finally say, "Been there, Done that!"

My Not-So-New Boss

Ever since my new boss came over and occupy the office beside my table, I've never had much good impression of him. Not that he's damn lousy or wat, just that my previous boss is really really capable and really nice. Well, I always lament that he never seems to show concern about my work much, unlike my previous boss who always seem to brighten up my day no matter how moody I am. But today my present boss suddenly ask our IT personal to change my stupid and outdated computer monitor and switch with our GRO's flat screen monitor. I din ask the IT guy why suddenly change, my boss actually told him I'm getting cross-eyed watching the monitor all day. Haa... I was quite touched. For that moment, I felt pampered. Ok.. I sound so materalistic, but it's not the monitor thingy, but the fact that he can considered my working environment for a second. That alone is enough. He's always so pre-occupied by the operational stuff he never seem to care about my work mah... all my stupid pending account, pending invoices, wrong transaction and cashier problems (... the list goes on).

Work is not so bad after all!

My first car accident

I left the office on wednesday at about 10 plus after finish most of my work. Since it was quite late, I took a cab home. It rained the whole day so the road was rather wet. As usual the taxi driver go by CTE to my house. Along the way, while I was still dazed in my own thoughts looking outside the window, I suddenly hear the taxi driver jam brake, the next thing I could remember was seeing the front of the cab collide with another taxi in front. I was thrown off my seat and hit the seat in front. For 1 second everything went dark. But fortunately, it was quite a minor accident. My nose didn't break, thankfully but I got 2 big bruise on my shin. A little lesson for me not wearing seat belt. *pout* The front of the desk taxi was dent and the engine was sounding weird. So the uncle drop me at the nearest petrol station so I could take another cab home. I ended up paying on $5 for my trip home. Half the price I normally pay. But with a price.

Enough of drama for the week. Finally the weekend is here again. Today's teachers' day. It's also the official starting day Dar dar becomes a Duty Manager. He also had to wear his tuxedo uniform from 6pm onwards. He look quite funny. You dun see many asian in tuxedo ya. Thing is, the cutting is weird. And he had to wear the mickey mouse bow tie. I could have die laughing. Can't imagine soraya in her tux. Must be super weird for a lady to wear tux! The funny ideas our hotel can come up with. *shakes head* Too bad I can't post a pic of dar dar in tux. I think he'll skin me alive.
