I want!!! No wait... I NEED!!!

Dad's new toy

That's my dad's new toy. He's bringing it to Japan to snap snap. That cam cost a whopping 1000plus. *Jaw Drop*

On another note, work was quite good today. Time flew by and it was time to go home again. Tml onwards my boss will be on course till the week ends, can relax abit. Heee...

Random 2~

I'm back. My closet is much neater now. I wun be late for work tml cos I can easily locate my clothes now. Great. I once read somewhere that it's good fengshui to clean up your closet every month. Throw out the old and stuff like that. I do have tons of cosmetics and beauty products that are way expired, but I can't bear to, so I just leave it there, but never to use it again. I dun wanna spoil my skin! I seriously need to start wearing make-up regularly. I look horrible at work. Plus the lack of sleep... I'm like a walking zombie. That's bad image. Well, at least I still carry my smile.

Going shopping this coming saturday again. Yuppie. Pay day is coming! Bonus is coming! CNY is coming! Then it's pay day again! *KACHING*

Random~

My closet is in a mess.
My clothes are everywhere.
I can't find anything to wear in the morning because of the mess.
I just bought another top online.
Cyber shopping is addictive.
I need more $$ Kaching.
There's new of bonus coming.
Let me tidy up my room first.
Back to blog... later.

Civil war

Have you ever seen top management fight? Den you should really join me in our monthly credit meeting. It's super scary. And it's funny really, everytime I go to the boardroom for pre-con meeting weekly, I will never feel cold. But when it's credit meeting, I freeze till my fingertips... my hands turn sub-zero... I think it's due to the very very serious atmosphere. Every single word must be thought for carefully before saying it out loud. One wrong step and the whole room can uproar in disagreement. Yes... it's that scary.

And because it's that time of the month... no, not the girl thing, I refering to the credit meeting of course, everyone panicks and suddenly because so concern over every single pending account. Faxes, emails, follow ups with agents or company... you name it, you have it. And of course, I'll be the one checking and adjusting the amount, ensure the bill is correct before issuing an invoice. So... I had a very busy morning... doing all the above, plus my friday report, plus my daily chore of checking thru our in house high balance account. *Sigh*... I dunno if I enjoy my work or I dun. It's a love and hate relationship.

Met lin for coffee at Rocky Master... that gal... late again... -_- Went back to her office to wait for Ms Shann, poor gal, always working so late. I use to do that too... hotel line = 0 social life. Shann ah... finish what you need to do today, the rest can wait for tml. Go home early ah. And ms Cleo... very free hor... can surf net, do more sales call! You haven ORD yet! Revenue! Revenue!

Trouble?

What happens when you see a troublesome guest walking towards the reception counter?

1. Run and hide
2. Pick up the phone and pretend you're on the line with someone
3. Embrace the fact that he's 101 things to complain about
4. Who?

Except for choice number 3, the rest did happen today at work. Things people do sometimes...

Fair or unFair?

After a long wait of several months, it's that time of the year to give out our incentive for using foreign settlement on guest's credit card. This time, we each got 80 dollars worth of Takashimaya Voucher. Happy but... heard some indigestible news. It seems, my superior wants to use a little part of our long accumulated incentive voucher to pay for an long overdue outstanding amount that certain guest did not pay. And the manager who was suppose to follow up did nothing. 2 months have gone... now, they want to use our hard-earned incentive to pay off someone's mistake. Yes, it's important for us as a department to cover for one another but when only certain people get protected, it can become very political. My dept is split into the C people and the S people. The latter gets forgiven for any mistake made. Maybe just one or two sentence of nagging? Then, there's another 2 very obvious group of people, the 'work till wanna die' kind, and 'pretend to act busy' kind. It's getting harder and harder to work each day. I desperately want to go back to Operations, and stay far away from all these good for nothing higher management people. The work load is so unevenly distributed, it's pathetic, even my pay doesn't do me justice. Much less for the people at the reception fighting for their survive. Heck... let's go on strike.

Depth of Hart Affairs

Gomen~ Have been busy working ever since the new year started. Clearing last year's bad log and such. I wake up in the morning, drag myself out of bed, taking taxi to work half the time cause I took too long to shower and get ready, arrive at work sloppily and perk myself up for the long day ahead. Lunch is always at our staff cafe; saves money; save the effort of thinking what to have for lunch. Accompany my colleagues for smoke break before heading back to the office. Before the day ends, will always head to accounts dept, that's where I get more assignments to do. Guest dispute, guest complain, agency complain, company complain. But I feel more energise working in the evening, thus, I always head home late at night. Note to self: Must develop a habit to go home earlier.

Met up with fen last evening for some shopping at marina square. The place is packed with people. Nevertheless, I manage to get myself 2 tops, 2 hair pins, and 2 coin pouch. After dinner, we head to Suntec Starbucks Cafe for coffee and chill. Talk alot about work, about Canada, about the hart's affair, and other misc. We only left the place at about 2am. It's a crazy but fruitful night.

TOKIO - Sorafune

Johnnys Countdown 2006-2007.

I spent my last hours of 2006 and first few hours of 2007 at my workplace. We had countdown party in the hotel lobby (like every other year... duh!). And like every other year, we have tons of balloons dropdown at the stroke of midnight. But this year, there's money in the balloons! I mean, shit, is the hotel making too much money?! I better get a big fat bonus this year. Anyway, it was fun celebrating with people I spend most of my time with the whole year... my colleagues! Although I rather stay home to keep away from the crowd, it's always good to celebrate such festival cos there's this saying that giving and receiving blessings from one another wards off evil. No?

HAPPY NEW YEAR! It's the Oink Oink year! Yikes... and I'm turning 21+++!
