Salang Beach, Tioman (22 - 24 Apr 07)

We picked up my boy at Changi Airport at midnight, waited for an hour before he finally show up. Took a cab to Bugis, bought supper and waited for ash and matt and candy before heading to boy's place to pick up the car.

We reach my boy's place around 2am in the morning and set off at 4.30am. It was almost dawn when we reach Mersing.

After an hour of boat trip, we finally reached Salang Beach. Thankfully, there were rooms available for 'early check in' but the rooms are damn far from the port. But the rooms are bigger than before. And as usual, without taking a rest first, we jump into the sea.

Phoneless

My boy is on MC again for the 2nd day. So worried sick. And he's alone at home. Yet he dun allow me to go over to take care of him. Stubborn.

Btw, to all those who have sms or called me on my cell phone, thousand apologise for not replying or picking up your call. My phone is with my boy in JB since Tuesday. Hopefully I get my phone back tml if he manages to come to work. Living phoneless for 2 days, is actually quite refreshing.

Salang Beach, Tioman (Preview)

Hello, I just got back from Salang Beach, Tioman. The trip wasn't as good as last year. The water is polluted and the corals are dying. And because this time, we had 15 people altogther, with 7 of us in a room, it was time consuming to wait for one another. Din get to drink at AJ's pub after dinner like before. We were so drain after a day's swim and getting everyone to go for dinner. Somemore me and my boy got sick on the first night. I started having running nose after my 2nd swim. We have about 300 photos and lotsa videos. But... the camera is in JB. It'll probably be up this weekend. Will blog about the whole trip den.

The Village

Finally after a century later, we three finally meet again last sunday for some chillout session. Me and lin hang out at Starbucks Liat while waiting for ms fen to get out of bed and out of the house. The rain came and went before that lady finally appear. We head out to The Village since ms fen was a little hungry. After the feeding, it was photo taking time.

Another monday

Work wasn't so bad after all. Had lunch with Cheryl. The people I'm close with are all not around. Maybe that's why I could go home on the dot. I wanna go do my hair, I wanna see my dentist. Should I pluck my wisdom tooth before or after my getaway? It'll heal within a week. But we're having our department chalet next week and I'm not going to forgo the food just to extract my last tooth. I just need time to do my own stuff on a weekday, without squeezing with the crowd.

P.S: I wan my long hair back.

'Withheld'

Some totally random guy called and talk as if we were long lost friends. Asking me how was my day, if I was married and stuff. Truth is, I have no idea who he is, although his name rings a bell. To me, he sounds like the normal boring 'I have nothing to do, why dun I call someone who I totally know nuts about and ask her how's her day' kinda guy. Typical Ah-Beng? Oh, he mention something about reservist. One word: Desperate. Well, dun blame me for being so edgy. And dun call when I dun expect you to call, unless we're close friends. But if you wanna do small talk, go find someone else. I'm anti-social. So shoot me.

I'm not going to pick up another unknown/withheld number.

Working Saturdays

Why can't I stay in bed a little longer? Oh yes, I have to go to work. I dread working Saturdays. I can't do much, but I can't do nothing either. Thankfully for me, Boss is not around today. Lucky break! Cleared some pending account. Started my department meeting minutes and doodle till time is up. Met fen for lunch at Mos Burger. Yummy... I think it's such a relief to see her again. I feel so much better telling her what happened a few days back. My 'train of tots' are gone. We went for a haircut at Supercut. I ask my hairstylist to chop off like 2 inches of my hair. Now it's short hair. Shoulder length to be exact. I'll be going Tioman this year with almost the exact hairstyle/hair length as last year. Except, there's so much more people tagging along this year!

How does it feel, to be accused of something you have not done. Knowing too much can only bring more trouble. I dunno who to trust anymore.

Random Blabbling

How did I spend my Good Friday? Sleeping till the late morning. Having brunch with my boy. Buying KFC back home and munching on the floor as if we were pinic-ing. Send him off to work. Started watching Death Note anime on youtube till I fall asleep. Heard my hp ring a couple of times but too dazed to wake up at all. Finally woke up and watched the ending of Ice Age. Had simple dinner prepared by the momster. Continued watching Death Note. And here I am, writing an entry for my very stagnant blog.

For the weekend, I'm meeting fen tml for lunch before her beauty appointment. And I'll meet her again on Sunday along with Lin san and her boy. Hopefully I get to do some shopping. I seriously need to get some retail therapy, away from my train of thoughts relating to the major event that happened at work a few days back. And we'll sit down at some random cafe outlet and have heart to heart talks and gossips. I guess, I can only trust them the most. Afterall, we know so many deep dark secrets of each other, and never once did I feel threatened or suspicious.

I had a nightmare a few nights back. Something evil was floating above me, and warm blood flood from my head all over me. I heard evil whispers of words I cannot remember now. I tried to shut my ears with my forefingers and scream for help. “救我...” until I woke up in the darkness. It's freaky, and it's still freaking me out. I can't do scary movies. My imagination are so wild... you'll be amazed at what I can think off.

This week hasn't been a good week. Next Monday, a colleague of mine will be back from her maternity leave. Let's just say she's not very popular amongst the other colleagues. But one good thing about her return, the hope for discipline back at the reception. Let's hope her nagging will have some effects on them.

I work with people who can turn their back on me anytime. I tread on land covered with mines. I need to know who I can trust.

Finally... a break

Work has been crazy everyday. Tons and tons of email ding donging. Dodging tai-chi and all. I gave up talking to the useless dept people. I dare say they're worst than our receptionist. Can't even do a simple thing right. And my dept have to suffer becos of their incompetence. And due to the nature of my work, I tend to bitch and nag alot. And I hate it. I wanna get out of this political cycle and have nothing to do with the HODs. But, it seems like, my wish of going back to operation isn't going to happen soon. How i wish time can turn back to when I first join the company. Everyone were very capable and independent. The Managers back den were very respected. The team was very disclipined. And we take care of each other. We need to be unite. But judging from the current situation, it seems easier to climb a himalaya mountain.
